Unveiling of the new “EduCanada” brand

May 30, 2016 – The new education brand for Canada, “EduCanada”, developed in collaboration with the provinces and territories, will be unveiled on May 31 at NAFSA's Annual Conference and Expo 2016, in Denver, CO, U.S.A.

NAFSA is the world’s largest international education conference. The Governor General of Canada, David Johnston, has announced that he will officially open the “EduCanada” pavilion at NAFSA’s Annual Conference and Expo. For the inauguration, he will deliver remarks and tour the EduCanada pavilion located at booth 1812 and 2012 in the NAFSA 2016 Expo Hall.

The EduCanada pavilion at NAFSA is the result of close collaboration between Global Affairs Canada, the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC) and the 13 provinces and territories. Close to 300 Canadian participants representing over 90 Canadian educational institutions will attend this year's conference. Participants include representatives from educational institutions responsible for student mobility and guidance, program and partnership development, and federal and provincial government representatives.

The unveiling of the new EduCanada brand at NAFSA coincides with the launch of the new mobile friendly EduCanada.ca website. International students can visit the website to find information about studying in Canada, including scholarships, study programs and study permits.
