The Canadian University of Prince Edward Island initiates project to give international students work experience in their field

May 29, 2017 – The University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) in Canada has started a pilot project that provides opportunities for international students to get work experience in their field of study and build a network for future employment. "This is all directed at giving international students an opportunity to make those connections in the community and also to give them an idea of what types of employment there is here on Prince Edward Island," said Hope Nestor, the international student employer liaison officer at UPEI.
