Many international students choosing Canada’s capital to study computer science

December 21, 2017 - The city of Ottawa, in the Canadian province of Ontario, has seen a massive influx of international student applications to all postsecondary institutions, especially revolving around computer science programs.

In addition to the excellent computer science and other technology courses offered in the region, there are opportunities for relevant work after graduation.

According to Statistics Canada, 95% of college graduates across Canada are employed, and over four fifths report their studies are directly related to the work they do. Similar numbers have also been reported for university students as well.
