Canada and Mexico extend their bilateral cooperation in education with easier student mobility between both countries
July 22, 2016 - Prime Minister Trudeau and President Peña Nieto of Mexico announced new partnerships among educational institutions that will increase student mobility and provide new opportunities between the two countries.
The two leaders further signed a bilateral industrial research agreement which will allow up to 20 Mexican graduate students to go to Canada and up to 20 Canadian graduate students to go to Mexico under the Globalink Partnership Award program.
