Students at Canadian university sharing language and culture through new international student-run program
March 8, 2018 - International students at the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada are connecting with each other across cultures — and across languages.
Students who work in the international relations office have started a language exchange program, which matches up students who teach each other their own respective languages.
The program is intended to give international students leadership experience, and get to know more people. It “also helps to promote the cultural development and cultural understanding”, says Jing Huang, an international student from China.
