Canada leads the way in IT education and services
August 7, 2019 – The Information Technology (IT) services market is booming, with over $25 billion spent every year on the industry in Canada, according to analyst David Senf of Cyverity Ltd. Though there is a current global shortfall of IT professionals, Canada is helping to fill this talent gap as it leads the way in technology education and skills, as well as IT certifications.
Canada also tops the OECD ranking as the world’s most educated country, with an IT talent pool that is equipped to serve organizations around the world. International students, who choose Canada as their study destination for technology and IT-related fields, will also gain access to one of the world’s best IT labour markets after they graduate.
