Video transcript

My name is Vince and I’m from Vietnam. I’m currently studying tourism and hospitality management in Canada.

The reason I chose Canada is because this country is a sport tourism hotspot, and I want to pursue a higher education and find a job in this field.

After researching online, I realized that Saskatchewan and Sask Polytech would be the best fit for me because I’m a nature lover and I think Saskatchewan province will offer a lot of career opportunities that allow me to work closely to the nature.

Coming to Canada has been a really positive experience. I find the culture very relaxed and it has been very easy to make new friends.

At Sask Polytech, I feel really supported and encouraged. The classroom here are small, which allow better interaction between the student and the professors.

I also work at a health store that is close to my college.

When looking for a part-time job in Canada, your resume is important, but probably more important is to be presentable, to be personable and to be professional.

After my graduation, I would love to find a job as a tourism coordinator where I will organize group trips for adventure tourists.

I think international students should really choose Canada because it’s such a multicultural country and it allow me to discover my true self.
