Moncton, New Brunswick

I’m Ahmed Tazi, a fourth-year mechanical engineering student at the Université de Moncton.

I was born in Morocco.

It was essential for me to pursue my university studies in French.

Also, the Canadian education system has a good international reputation.

It wasn’t difficult to integrate here. A lot of my Canadian friends actually helped me learn about Canadian culture.

As soon as I finish my studies here in Canada, I’m aiming for a job as a mechanical design engineer in a car manufacturer or simply one that makes mechanical parts.

In fact, there are lots of opportunities for engineers.

You could work as an engineer in renewable energy, mechanical design, quality, analysis, project management and development. It all depends on your passion.

I made the right choice to study engineering in Canada because it offers multiple opportunities to succeed in your professional career.
