"I participated in the Faculty Mobility for Partnership Building Program in 2024, which enabled me to collaborate with scholars at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), Universidade de São Paulo (USP), and Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM) in Brazil. Through lectures and research meetings, I shared insights on the dental curriculum offered at the University of British Columbia (UBC), while learning about ongoing and future projects at the host institutions. This experience greatly enriched my academic perspective and fostered meaningful professional relationships.

Thanks to the program’s support, we secured funding for multiple visiting scholars and students from Brazil to join my lab at UBC. These partnerships have already led to five publications, with more in progress, and continue to generate impactful research."
