16th edition of the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP) Collaboration Mission

November 22, 2023 – Welcome to the delegates participating in Global Affairs Canada’s 2023 ELAP collaboration mission!

In the coming days, 11 delegates representing postsecondary institutions from 10 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean will visit Canadian colleges and universities to establish and strengthen academic partnerships. The delegates will also attend the Canadian Bureau for International Education’s (CBIE) Annual Conference from November 26-29, 2023.

The collaboration mission is a key feature of the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP) that offers over 500 scholarships per year to students from Latin America and the Caribbean to pursue short-term study and research exchanges in Canada.
